A Tonkatsu by Ma Maison

Last week went to One Utama to have a celebration with friends.

We had our dinner on Tonkatsu by Ma Maison :D

It is a place for fried pork heaven (non-halal, obviously lol)

This was my second time into this restaurant, previosly was introduced by ex colleague, something like a 3 years ago XD

I have never thought that would be a place in Malaysia to properly have fried pork meal (of course, not that I have travelled to every spot in Malaysia)

Last year went to Taipei, I did purposely seek out a place to have nice tonkatsu (in Taipei station), and it did not disappoint me.

The memu has different types of pork cutting (loin, fillet), sauces (plain, miso, etc.), and sizes!.

It also serves other meat like chicken, fish, shrimp, etc., however the shop name is tonkatsu though XD

Price is around RM30 above (March 2019).

The meal is always comes with rice, soup, cabbage, a small daikon ball, a dessert. Drinks come separately.

The nice thing is, everything other than the main meat (i used main meat, haha), are refillable!

The rice is refillable, regradless white rice or multigrain rice, soup is refillable and it is full of ingredients! The cabbage is reffilable, together with the wafu sauce they have, the giagantic portion of cabbage is very good (for me, at least XD).

This place is hidden inside the Isetan in One Utama, a really nice place for a hearty dinner.

Solo Sushi King Lunch

Went to the mapex thingy in KLCC today.

Tried to look a any nice house for consideration, but meh, my income still low it seems.

So this blog will be about the food i ate during this KLCC trip! 😂

Let's start with the green tea.

It has the hot water tube running across all the seats, so they will just give you this empty cup and a packet of tea bag.

Top bar showing prices of sushi by colour of plate, underneath it two bottles of mitsume and shoyu, and the hot water tap.
A pair of chopstick on a small plate with shoyu and wasabi, an empty cup, and a packet of green tea tea bag, on the wooden table.

I always order salad in a sushi restaurant, so the first thing I do when I open the menu is search for salad.

Maybe not all the time salad, but I do like the salad in sakae sushi and mentai sushi :D

A plate of salad with fried mushroom on top, lemon slice on the side, wafu dressing next tot the plate.

This is the salad with fried mushroom topping. Together with wafu dressing, actually not bad, especially with a slice of lemon?

Not too sure if I should squeeze it into the salad or just bite it as part of the salad 😆

The only thing that I'm comparing to is the portion of it, well, quite not enough for me.

And so, I have order some plates together with the salad and some from the conveyor belt thingy.

In the end, all of these are around RM30, foods are great :D

Just the portion of the salad is still annoying me, maybe I just like the japanese restaurant salad so much 😋

Antipodean Cafe Experience at Mid Valley

Yesterday went for an early birthday lunch celebration.

Purposely picked the antipodean cafe for the breakfast set 😍

For lunch. Breakfast set for lunch 😂

It is ok for Malaysian, we can have breakfast any time in the day, no worries.

Have been craving for the antipodean's breakfast for a while,

finally able to satisfy the craving at this birthday time.

In fact, 2 breakfast sets were ordered! Haha

"All day breakfast" & "Big breakfast"

Both are priced at RM26.

If you haven't been here,

they have no menu.

I mean, they do not have the usual book/leaflet menu,

The staffs will let you know their menu is up on one of the wall,

you can try to look up for the list of food you can order,

or you can scan a QR code for their menu online.

Of course, it is better to just go through the menu on your phone before you sit down,

if you know you gonna be there.

The portion is larger than the meal you could have ordered else where, at least in my opinion.

Overall the food is really good, the latte is good too 😃

Nokia 9 Comes with Seven Holes!

OMG here it comes.

The moment of cameras war has finally started.

2 days ago while reading about the folding phone of the samsung, I continue to search throught the MWC youtube posts, to see if there is any interesting ideas or designs.

And then I saw an image that resembles some memes when Huawei launch the 4 cameras phones.

Many holes/cameras/lens what ever you want to call it at the back of the phone!

Then I realised it was a video from android authority! Damn it must be real!

And I clicked on that video, and yes it is the real phone 😂

The Nokia 9 pure view I think.

Oh man, in my mind, I was like, so besides the racing war on folding screen, there is this war towards the higher number of cameras 😂

Damn, speechless for that night, but was laughing hard 😂

Day out to Nexus Bangsar South & The Vertical Business Suite

Had a meetup about accounting and taxation for freelancer and blogger today at GASpace KL.

The thing starts at 2pm, so I decided to go have lunch before joining. Although registration starts on 1.30pm.

Didn't know where this vertical business suite is, I know it should be around Nexus Bangsar South. To prevent getting lost I decided to just "grab" there, straight to the building where GASpace is.

Well what do you know, the Tower A where the space is, is literally opposite the Nexus Bangsar South, lol, I have been there.

I even asked the guard where tower A is, in front of the tower A gate!

Nevermind that, went to Nexus Bangsar South, want to get some lunch before event start.

Walked around, ended up with fuel shack, attracted by the fish and chips, haha.

Dory Fillet Burger with fries on the side on a paper on a table
Dory Fillet set from the Fuel Shack Signature

Ordered just sligthly before 1pm, thinking 30 minutes should be enough, the meal arrived on my table after 1.30pm 😂 Oh man, registration had started.

Swallow through the dory fish burger + fries, didn't get to enjoy the juicy fish and tobasco soaked fries, oh well.

After the meal, in like, 10 minutes, yes I am rushing now, I went and bought a tealive 😂

The amazing story of the day, look at the milktea I have ordered

Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milktea from Tealive

Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea!

Saw that?

Signatue Brown Sugar!

Without sugar!!!!

Oh man, and I realised the sales person looked confused when I say no sugar 😂 I got the reason the moment I walk away with the milktea. So clever me.

In the end I managed to reach the GASpace 5 minutes just before the event starts.

Getting over with the usual intro to wordpress meetup group and wordcamp, we were introduce to two speakers. One talked about basics accounting concept to record a business, and the other one talked about taxation.

A talk about accounting for bloggers and freelancers

People with business or company really should get their book keeping right, to avoid all the hassle in the end of business cycle and before doing tax filing.

Apparently everyone should use an accounting software to do proper book keeping, there are free ones out there, at least record first before you can afford a proper paid software.

And and and! A business should keep their business document up to 7 years! This is new to me, haha. 7 years man! Imagine all the bills, receipt, invoice, etc., 7 years worth, hahahaha. That's a lot of paper!

Penalty of not paying tax could be up to 300% (I guess is the three times the tax that you should pay in the first place, not too sure about this).

Although today's topic is not related to wordpress at all, but it was one of the most engaging meetups, erm, correction, I think it is the most engaging one, probably related to money. 🙈💵
